Louisette and Nevardo's Wedding Cakes!!!

Back in September of 2007 we made a wedding cake and a bunch of mini cakes for two of our favorite clients Louisette and Nevardo. We had done several cakes for them in the past and we were honored when they asked us to make their wedding cake(s). They wanted a main wedding cake and several small cakes, which they displayed on the Dessert Buffet. Each mini cake reflected something about the couple and their family. Christine Godsey from Soco Events sent me these wonderful pictures of the wedding cake and cake cutting. We love getting pics from event planners and photographers, because they always look a million times better than our
pics :-D

The cake is covered in Ivory fondant with chocolate fondant swirls and a royal Icing border
painted gold. The cake also has fuchsia sugar orchids cascading down the tiers.

The beautiful couple cutting their cake!

My friend would love the brown and pink wedding cake. She loves that color combination.

Wedding cakes are a stunning piece of artwork and it's almost a shame we have to eat them...almost! (ha-ha).

Great post and some beautiful cakes.

Awesome cakes! I especially love the NY Giants cake as I am a fan also. May have to show it to my hubby so I can get it for my birthday :)
